Life is always in your favor. Always.
Lots of times, our life situations are uplifting. We accomplish a career goal, enjoy a vacation to a new location, receive a remission diagnosis.
Other times, our life situations feel like they need solutions. It feels like we are under water, lost in thick fog, held fast in tar pits.
Wrong turns in need of course correction.
What if the course I think needs to be corrected is actually right on track?
What if what I think is wrong is exactly what is needed for my spiritual growth?
For example, in the past I’ve been diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis, and I’ve lost a marriage. Neither were part of any plan I had for myself.
Again — what if what I thought was wrong was exactly what I needed for my spiritual growth? Because I can now see that in direct relation, I have learned to value myself (among other things I’ve learned).
Looking back, I begin to see where the things I think were wrong were actually right.
The next level is to see this at work in my present.
Since I am not a living saint, it’s enough right now just to be willing to see.)
Over to you: what challenges have happened in your past that you can now see had aspect that were for your good? Is there anything difficult that you are in the midst of right now? Can you hold space for what feels wrong to possibly be very right, in the end?
