“Becoming An Author” Writing Seminar

Are you interested in writing — whether a blog, memoir, poetry, screenplay, cookbook, fiction, or any other writing endeavor? We’d like to support your interest with a free, full-day, online writing seminar!

Saturday, July 25, 2020. 9 a.m. — 4 p.m (central time)

This seminar includes multiple Zoom meeting informational and writing guidance sessions, interspersed with scheduled personal writing time. We will also look at various publishing ideas. The focus of the seminar will be on your work, with time to devote to writing throughout the day. Individuals will have the option to schedule one gifted coaching session to support their personal writing journey.

The entire day-long seminar takes place in the comfort of your own home! Meetings will be recorded with links sent out afterward to all registrants.

Schedule:

9:00 – 10:00 — (Zoom meeting) Welcome; You ARE A Writer!

10:00 – 10:30 — Devoted Writing Personal Time (personal project, writing prompts, or your own inspired topic)

10:30 – 11:30 — (Zoom meeting) Getting Started; Keeping Going

11:30 – 12:30 — Devoted Writing Personal Time (personal project, writing prompts, or your own inspired topic)

12:30 – 1:00 — Lunch (more personal writing time!)

1:00 – 2:00 — (Zoom meeting) Publishing; Writer’s Groups

2:00 – 3:30 — Devoted Writing Personal Time (personal project, writing prompts, or your own inspired topic)

3:30 – 4:00 — (Zoom meeting) Wrap-up and Closing, Next Steps, Optional Free Coaching Offer

This seminar is led by gina drellack. Gina holds a Certificate in Writing from the University of California, Berkeley; a Masters Degree in Educational Media Technology, and is a certified Life Coach. She is a licensed K12 teacher and an Education Consultant with the Northwest Service Cooperative. Gina writes weekly about ease, joy, and everyday holy wonders here at this website, and is currently writing and publishing her first book.Capture (1)
