Everyday Creative Writing

I was listening to a Hay House Radio show the other day, an archive of a Nancy Levin broadcast. The lovely caller expressed that although she was a business writer, she wished to start writing creative pieces. I think many of us can identify with that.
I encourage us as writers to explore this thought from Holly Thompson, writing teacher at UC Berkeley Extension:
Creative writing has applications in daily life regardless of one’s trade, profession, or background. To move people with words, to share stories, to create art with spoken words or text–these are valuable skills useful in all future endeavors. –Holly Thompson
Creativity is not an endeavor that we either do or don’t do, it’s a quality that we already are.
In what way can you allow your unexpected creative writing today?
