Hey there! What’s good?
A few weeks ago I surprisingly ran into a really great person that I haven’t seen in a long while. (Adult son of dear friends, he lives in a different state.)
What do you say as a way of common greeting? Here are some of my, and many people’s, reach-outs for connection:
- Hey there, what’s up?
- How’s it going?
- What’s new?
- What have you been up to?
- How are you?
Not this guy. Nope, this beam of light in the world jovially reaches out with:
Hey there! What’s good?

What’s good. In my day, in my life, in my world, in my mind, in my heart. I am being guided to lead my connection from a place of goodness. How often do we default our connections through common gripes and annoyances? Health, world affairs, we-been-done-wrongs?
What an amazing uplift.
This will change the world.
How can you intentionally lead from positivity, today? What might you say by way of greeting?
Me, I’m beginning with “Great to see you! What’s good?” And I’ll see where I’m guided from there.
What if this became natural? A new default? A social norm?
Let’s tap into this changed world, together.
