Re-minding myself

Our resting set point for our spirits is actually at “lifted.” This is our natural state, not something to have to strive for. And yet, sometimes I need a reminder that this is so. Here’s a short list of just some of the things in my life that help me to remember:


Close family.

Incredible friends.

The Love of My Life.

Our furry buddy.

The loon family on the lake.

The neighborhood bear I saw the other day.

Four leaf clovers. And five-leafers.

Streaming movies and shows.



A shower, and a good night’s sleep.

Morning coffee.

The people at the grocery store checkout.

Watching the leaves in a gentle breeze.


And now I’m thinking of so many more things, too…
