Changing it up

Feeling overwhelmed with the amount and intensity of changes in your life, your world? Here’s a vocabulary mind-blower — another word for change is create.

Navigating change equals navigating creation.

Well now, that’s a whole new way of looking at things…

Are you experiencing big change in your life right now? What if we could reframe that for ourselves:

I am experiencing big Creation in my life right now.

What is being created in my life right now?

What do I want to create?

Neither fighting nor succumbing to change, what if we played our way through the shifts? The changes? The creations? What if we participated in them, contributing to both the process and outcome? Joy. Grace. Lightheartedness. Insert your own desired feelings here.

Or, we can always continue in frustration, indignaton, and bitterness. That’s our choice, too.

I begin now with changing, creating, how I approach my day. I practice switching from what I want to accomplish, to do, and instead play with what I want to explore, to create. Today, I let go of my trusted process of a To-Do List. And I begin from here with a Creation List.

The same stuff will get done, but in an entirely different manner.

And that makes all the difference.

Go forth and be happy.
