Mental wealth

Oh my goodness, look at you! Your amazing mental powers, just as you are!

From our daily doings to our daringest dreams, we can’t not tap into our thinking. You know that point of waking up in the morning, and thinking about getting out of bed? And then you do. Pondering what’s in the fridge, and then deciding what to eat. Playing the daily Wordle puzzle. Wondering how your friend’s day is going. Planning a play date with your young grandchildren. Dreaming about that vacation trip with your beloved. Thinking about how amazing this cup of coffee is right now.

Just thinking about our thinking makes us have even more thoughts.

And get this — because of our mental wealth, we can time travel!

We travel to the past by reminiscing, through both happy nostalgia and bitter resentments. We project ourselves to the future through both our expansive envisioning and our anxious worrying. It can take conscious mental effort to travel in the present. It’s also our own intentional thinking that determines the quality of our journey throughout our timelines.

Speaking of, it’s also our mental wealth that allows us to consider a practice of gratitude! We have a wealth of mental thoughts and capacity, with which we get to choose their richness.

We are wealthy, indeed.

And I’m grateful.

quote by albert einstein: everything is energy and that' all there is to it. match the frequency of the reality you want and you cannot help but get that reality. it can be no other way. this is not philosophy. this is physics.

Looking at abundance, wealth, and richness is about throwing away our lack-covered glasses.

Wow, this is the kind of life I want to be living.
