3 gifts of guidance

I recently read a message from Reid Tracy, CEO of Hay House publishing, in which he had been asked to share his three favorite bits of advice for others. I adore All Things Hay House, the tone of which is set by this very person. So I was receptive to hearing what he had learned along the way and valued enough to pass on.

Interested? Here they are:

It is only a thought, and a thought can be changed.

Louise hay

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

Do what you love but call it work.

Jordan davis, “Buy Dirt” lyric

I see the wisdom in each one of these, and I appreciate them. It also makes me wonder what three bits of guidance I could offer, just for today, if asked. Holding onto anger is like grasping a hot coal and not throwing it (Buddha)? Love one another (Jesus)? May the Force be with you (Star Wars)? Always wear clean underwear (every parent, ever)? Wisdom comes in many different packages.

And, what if I was not asked for gifts of guidance? What if I could just live it?

What are three gifts of guidance that you would share?

I am asking.

Go out in the woods, go out. If you don’t go out in the woods nothing will ever happen and your life will never begin.
